The Ramm Ell Zee is one of the most important artists operating these days. He is probably the most legitimately prophetic artist i can think of, outside of Gary Panter. This is mostly because his work is completely REAL, it's as if he is bringing things into being which already existed, even though they are obviously fantastical, i wouldn't doubt the existence of ANY of his creations on other worlds, in other dimensions or whatever. I'm pretty sure he is tapping into some sort of extra-dimensional intelligences, whether they are actually external or internal. The other element that i hold artists to is VOLUME of work. VOLUME plus VARIETY of FORM is also important. He's got it all regardless. The shit is amazing.
