SO WHAT?!?!?
In Japan or Germany, there'd be a term for this sort of mentality, which is "the expression of unpleasantness just to upset people". This is in the soul of most boys & American society & women especially try & beat this out of them. This harmless expression of nastiness. When i was a kid, my favorite graffiti was enormous swear words that would appear with no flair, no style, just giant letters saying "FUCK" & "SHIT" on the sides of liquor stores & the like. People who don't get this, who think that all unpleasantry is some sort of degradation of the human soul don't understand much on this earth. They must close their eyes when they see dogs gleefully eat cat shit, or when a mother fish eats her young. Or don't think too hard when they hear about all of the dinosaurs being wiped out in a relatively short period of time & the giant mammals doing the same much later. Having fathered two rambunctious boys, i learned that women giving birth frequently shit during contractions! I immediately thought that a good comic would be that they mistake the shit for the child, throw away the actual baby & raise the shit as their own. The actual human child would then grow up & seek vengeance, killing the shit child in school. The human child would then be slandered as racist. Something along these lines. When you hear these idiots speaking about "art" or about "beauty" they speak in terms that betray their completely & utterly limited faculties. Their hatred of actual existence. I've begun to run into people again who believe in "positivity" as their central motivation & expression. These are the same people who tried to send my little brother into psychiatric evaluation for drawing a picture of the devil in grade school. Who banned my zine from the anarchist centre for defending the word Bitch. NO, YOU A BITCH. End.
It's Spring Again...
Biz Markie - It's Spring Again
Vaughn Bode... wow!
The cartoon messiah speaks! Love that he's drawing the whole time, the great squeak of the markers. One of my all-time favorite people. I came to him through Bakshi's Wizards, which Bode was supposed to work on, & through his son Mark's work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics in the late 80s & his Miami Mice series. Mark is an Oaklander, to some degree.

POGS
Pawg Dawg II from pARTy house on Vimeo.
The Pog Rap from Street Carnage. I declared a while ago that pogs should come back & what do you know, it's happened. It's really just the simple math of trend cycling, but pogs still haven't actually come back. They have to be in the real world, not just on the internet. Anyhow, in a depression, it's my theory that kids won't be able to afford video games anymore so they'll start buying cards, comics & pogs again. Cheap ass paper shit.
Mike's Digital Pog Page. Pretty weird & crazy. Apparently the concept came up way back in 2006, so the pog is having a hard time erupting from its trend slumber. A quick look in the google for "pog comeback" shows people calling for the comeback as early as 2005. Anyhow, regardless of whether they pick up again & kids want to play them, i can see pogs becoming a weird kind of art "calling coin" & way to spread information. So now all i have to do is find a manufacturer & get the show on the road.
SORCEROR NEWS: GAMBIANS ABDUCTED BY WITCH DOCTORS

Gambians 'taken by witch doctors' from the BBC "Overtly concerned with African witchcraft!"Up to 1,000 Gambian villagers have been abducted by "witch doctors" to secret detention centres and forced to drink potions, a human rights group says. Amnesty International said some forced to drink the concoctions developed kidney problems, and two had died. Officials in the police, army and the president's personal protection guard had accompanied the "witch doctors" in the bizarre roundup, said witnesses. Gambia's government was unavailable to comment on the claims. The human rights group asserted that many of those abducted were elderly.

THE LOST, LOST RAP: HIP HOUSE
Hip House is a truly lost, lost rap form. I was crazy into it back in the days of 1988. Especially when you had a mix that would run from acid house/early techno to hip house, something about the acid electro noise with the house piano with some stupid rap on top of it still gets me. We had a KORG M1 at the time & i learned how to play all the different parts of the songs... my entire family plays piano, most of them professionally & i seem to only be able to make techno songs, can't actually play for shit. Man, you could throw in some KLF, Edelweiss, even some of that German EBM shit & you've got the ultimate in 1988 Megamixin'.ROCK DA HOUSE - The Beatmasters with the Cookie Crew
Hip House documentary. & house music was born. What this doesn't talk about, is how i actually made the first hip house record called "Bass House".
It Takes 2 - Rob Base & DJ EZ ROCK
Join in the Chant - Nitzer Ebb EBM is a Lost, Lost Rap all in its own. But look, we used to listen to all of this stuff together in the mix & it blended together. That's the whole concept of the good MEGAMIX & before all of these weird subgenres were taken even remotely seriously (not to imply that they are now, but they are way more distinctified), so i'd argue that if you match the beats, Nitzer Ebb works just fine along side with all of this Hip House, this is basically a rap on top of here anyhow.
Headhunter by Front 242 Same thing. Came out in 1988, how is this not a rap over house music?
